The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for creating awareness and demand for Mortgages thru self sourcing business and conducting outside weekly sales calls. Please note that there are opportunities for the right candidate for both inside sales in our corporate headquarters in Reisterstown, Maryland and throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia.

Duties include:

Producing high quality loans which meet CFBLS guidelines while providing excellent customer service

Soliciting mortgages from various sources including Community Outreach Programs, attorneys, healthcare organizations, realtors, builders, financial planners/professionals, past customers and other nontraditional sources including database and direct mail

Developing relationships with business referral sources

Developing and maintaining a high degree of visibility for CFBLS in the community
Skills:
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies and benefits to customers and business partners

Demonstrated customer service skills

Comfortable delivering presentations to large groups

Entrepreneurial Spirit- Computer Savvy (Outlook and Microsoft Windows 2003)


Comments:
5+ years of Mortgage sales experience and/or
3+ years of outside sales and/or
1-2+ years of Inside Mortgage sales experience
Proven ability to self-source leads and to create profitable business relationships with referral partners
Able to produce high quality loans which meet CFBLS guidelines while providing excellent customer service.
